Why a training at SEVERIN?

This is what our team says:

Julian Barthel

Testimonial from a former trainee (J. Barthel)

Why did you decide to do a traineeship at SEVERIN back then?

I decided to do my apprenticeship at Severin because it is a medium-sized company. Due to the size of the company and its proximity, you have the opportunity to get to know the internal processes and colleagues very well. This helped me, for example, to understand the interrelationships in the company much better.

What did you particularly like about your apprenticeship? What does a typical working day at SEVERIN look like?

What I liked most about my apprenticeship was the many tasks. These ranged from smaller tasks to customer care. In particular, the trust placed in me,

e.g. in customer service tasks in coordination with the clerk, characterised my everyday life. The daily routine was also filled with a lot of communication between the various colleagues from production and the office.

What advice would you give to future trainees?

If you like to be in contact with people and master a wide range of tasks, this is your training. Starting the job is a big adjustment at first, so it is even more important to listen well and ask questions as soon as something is unclear. You can definitely count on the support of your colleagues. And if you are not sure whether this apprenticeship is the right one for you, simply try it out.

Tim Begemann

Trainee statement (T. Begemann)

“I started my training as an industrial clerk at Severin on 01.09.2021. I was given a very warm and friendly welcome to the team.

The tasks I get as an apprentice are very varied and complex, which I like very much. The theoretical part of the training takes place twice a week at the vocational school and the practical part at the company. My hopes and expectations of the training have been far exceeded, which is why I am looking forward to the upcoming time.”
