The SEVERIN company is a leading manufacturer of indoor and outdoor tabletops for the hospitality, residential, garden and leisure industries.
The production located in Ense (Germany) focuses on processing materials made of wood and plastic composites.
The name Severin has stood for quality for several generations. Starting with a traditional carpentry in 1936, the Severin company further developed from a wood-processing manufacturing company, founded in 1955, to a world-class supplier to the furniture industry, combining nowadays tradition and innovation.
In addition, we have a manufacturing base specialized in CNC woodprocessing in Paderborn (Germany) which was inaugurated in 2017.
Our company maintains a long-term partnership with its customers and suppliers all over the world.

Transport-safe packaging for all transport routes
By using the new cardboard cutting machine, we have optimized our logistics chain through efficient and at the same time environmentally friendly packaging. We will advise you on the best and safest type of packaging for your products for the purposeful protection of all transport routes, as well as the sales-promoting packaging of the products. We are also happy to enclose your assembly instructions and exploded drawings with the packages.

Our environmental awareness begins with the procurement of raw materials and the targeted selection of suppliers and cooperation partners. Our production processes are optimized according to ecological aspects by focusing on waste avoidance, environmentally friendly packaging, reuse of raw materials and the use of renewable energy.

Doctors without Borders provides medical aid in countries where people’s survival is threatened by conflicts, epidemics or natural disasters.
A special concern of ours are our total of 10 sponsored children within the framework of the “Plan” project with child sponsorships in Bolivia, the Philippines, Nicaragua, Ghana, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala and Vietnam. Plan International is an independent development cooperation and humanitarian aid organisation.
The history of our company, which has existed for several generations, began as a small traditional carpentry workshop in 1936 - founded by Bernhard Severin. He passed on his passion for carpentry to his son Heinz, who joined his father's business at an early stage.
In 1955, the carpentry workshop developed further and expanded the handicraft production into a woodworking and processing industrial enterprise.
In the following years, the company grew and quickly reached its spatial capacity limit. In 1965, the business moved into the newly built company building.
Over the years, under the leadership of the 3rd generation, in the person of Heinz-Bernd Severin, the company has developed into a medium-sized enterprise and first-class supplier of tabletops for the catering and leisure furniture industry. To this day, the company successfully combines tradition with innovation and maintains long-term partnerships with customers and suppliers worldwide.
In 2013, the construction of the 1500 m2 state-of-the-art logistics hall was completed, which today is used for the storage and packaging of our products as well as a truck docking station for efficient loading.
